I've also checked The Sims 4 for updates and Origin tells me I don't have any. UPDATE: I uninstalled and reinstalled the game and it's still happening.

Could that be the problem? Or could it be something with the music? If so, how do I fix it, and if not, what is the problem?! I really don't want to uninstall and install the game unless I absolutely have to I didn't save my beautiful Sims.
The only other thing I can think of is that one of the mods called for me to edit(add a line of text) the text of the resource.cfg file and I stupidly did it because I wanted the mod so badly, but I've since gone back and deleted the lone of text, but now the resource.cfg file opens in WordPad. (it did not used to) When I double click on the resource.
When the game started to crash, I deleted all of the CC I had downloaded since the crashing started, as well as the mods, and used the "Repair Game" option in Origin, but the game keeps crashing. cfg so I downloaded another original one, but this still comes up. I tried to just reload the game like twelve freakin' times, but the same thing kept happening, exactly down to the timing of the crash. A problem has caused the program to sop working." yadda-yadda-yadda, and Windows has no fixes for me. Afterward, when I tried to start the game, it went through part of the loading rigamarole (The EA logo, the Maxis logo, and then The Sims 4 logo) but within one or two seconds of the music starting while The Sims 4 logo was up, the game crashed and I got an error pop-up saying "The Sims 4 has stopped working. Then you can move your saved game files, mods, and tray files. That will generate a brand new folder, including resource.cfg.
If that doesn't work, move your Sims 4 folder (the one in EA Games/Documents) to the desktop and start the game.

My computer more than meets the requirements, I know how to properly download CC, and I don't think I * anything up too badly, but today (6/1/15) Origin had to update and I installed some new CC and a few mods. Trying repairing the game through Origin (right click on game in Origin and choose 'repair'). I just recently bought The Sims 4 Digital Deluxe, installed it and played it fine with CC for three or four human(NOT Sim) days.
